Mexican torta

Last Saturday I made traditional Mexican.

                                            I flattened some chicken and then I dipped it in egg.  Then                                                                                    in bread crumbs and then I cooked the chicken. Lastly I put the                                                                                         beans, miracle ship, avacado and cheese on the bun.

                                                  and BOOM there you have it!

I loved the sandwich.

Sunflower

I'm growing a sun flower in a pot on my window sill.  It's going great because it has sprouted a lot and my second seed has started to sprout.  I love it and already it has grown a lot.

The Hardy Boys

Book Review Questions

1.  What was the title of the book you read?  The title of this book is  The Viking Stone Mystery.

2.  Who were the main characters?  The main characters were Frank and Joe Hardy.

3. How did the story end?  When the Hardy's intercepted the bad guys. 

4.  What was your favorite part? When the bad guys shot a bullet  into a herd of buffalo.

5.  Would you recommend this book to others?  I would definitely recommend it.

Energy

There are eight different type of energy.
There is sound, 'heat, electrical, light,chemical, mechanical, and nuclear.
Force is a push or a pull. If you push a wall and it does not budge you have not done any work because work is force times a distance.
Pinetic energy is when something is moving.
potential energy is when a thing is not moving.


I turned solar energy into heat energy using the suns heat. Using that heat, I cooked a marshmallow, cheese and chocolate inside my cereal box solar oven;

Covid 19

I'm not fond of Covid 19 since we got stuck indoors but I like to build lego, have time with Toby(my cat), play baseball and play video games.  It has been good but sometimes it has not been good.  I look forward to going to the beach and playing with my friends. Sometimes I wonder about people who have the virus, but God will help us.

Bugsy

My favorite stuffed animal is carefully named Bugsy. I received Bugsy when I was 6 years old and he was one of the first stuffies I had ever received. Ever since I laid hands on him, I have loved him.   I have lovingly owned him a very long time. Bugsy is a monkey made by “Build a Bear”.  He is the best stuffy I have ever had and I am very glad I eventually found him.

Dear Mom,

Hi Mom.  I am doing well but seven people in my camp are having troubles and are gambling and doing stupid things.  Me and my friend Wu Kwazi are doing well and I have $260. I have been working 260 days.  I get a dollar a day. I can’t wait to get home and buy some rice because I’m starving and the food here is terrible.  We have started working in a cave and the Red Beards are using explosives which are causing cave ins.  Every time we hear explosions, we run out of the cave.  Some other people in our camp have been wounded from the rocks.  I miss you and I feel home sick.  It is raining tonight so we are inside and thankfully it is a rest day.

I'm going to Winter Camp today in Falkland. My sister, Caileigh, said it's going to be fun. I'm going to have a blast. I can't wait. It's going to be awesomely fun. I hope we go on a snowmobile

Jake's Adventures

    Hi my name is Jake and this is my story.  It all started out with me and my friend Sam.   Me and Sam were getting ready to go on an adventure. We were going into the forest.  We had told our parents and they exclaimed okay.  It was great because we had never gotten to go on an adventure before.  We took two bananas, a few apples and some water.  And we also packed binoculars for bird spotting.

     When we started off, it was getting a bit dark because the trees were in the way of the sun.  When our eyes adjusted, we started to notice beautiful birds, squirrels and rare, red-tailed foxes.  We even glimpsed a chipmunk or two.  We found a creek and we started to watch birds from the creek.  A few minutes later we decided to go on and we saw a few robins, bluebirds and a majestic eagle.  A few moments later, we realized that we had wandered away from the trail and we were lost. 

     We started to worry if we would make it home.  We decided to sit still and wait for someone to find us but we never heard anyone coming.  We decided to have an apple and some water while we waited.  It was getting dark and we were feeling really scared.  All of a sudden, we heard a helicopter.  We stood up and started waving our arms frantically.  It felt like a century until the helicopter saved us but it was only a day. We were so happy we hugged our parents on the spot.      

 Vaccinations 

A vaccination is a shot that helps keep the viruses away. it helps to keep you from getting sick. The Spanish flu killed 50 million people. If there were vaccinations less people would have died. So go get them today.

buddy

BUDDY

My dog Buddy is playful, energetic and escapes a lot! He loves to be pet and his fur is so soft.   Quickly, he eats his food.  Sometimes he calmly wanders the beautiful yard.  His pal is our cute cat Toby.  Buddy is the best dog ever.

 

THE TITANIC

I'm learning about the Titanic and it is exciting. Did you know that the Titanic sunk April 15, on Monday 1912  2:00 a.m?  I want to know how many people died. I look forward to learning more about the Titanic.
