Alex and I have been going to a basketball camp every Monday for about ten weeks and I have improved greatly in my skills. The teachers are nice and so are the other students. We usually start by doing some exercises then some drills and usually end with a game. The teachers order special reversible jerseys and shirts. The camp goes from September to December. I'm also signed up from January to March.

Sign Language
Sign language is a very important language for deaf and mute people. Even though some deaf people can talk a lot of them either choose not to or can't and they choose to use sign language. Sign language is a way of talking with your hands to make different words. I have been learning signs for two months and I have been learning a lot about the culture.

Remembrance day
Remembrance Day is a day when we take some time to remember all the soldiers who gave their lives for us to win wars. We remember the fallen soldiers by wearing poppy pins and by going to the remembrance day service. I painted some poppies to remember the fallen soldiers.

the difference between endemic, epidemic, and pandemic
The Difference Between Endemic, Epidemic, And Pandemic.
Endemics are diseases like the common cold and they will always be here and they have a low chance to kill people. Epidemics are in a widespread area like all of Victoria. If two-thirds of the people in Victoria all got sick that would be an epidemic. Pandemics as you have seen from 2019-now is a sickness that is so widespread that it covers a large geographic area. Covid spread to the entire world.

Cells
characteristics of living things
All living things share five characteristics.
Number one all living things require energy.
Number two all living things respond to their environment.
Number three all living things get rid of waste.
Number four all living things reproduce.
Number five all living things grow and develop.
Cells
Cells are the building blocks of life. We have trillions of cells in our bodies and each minute thousands of skin cells are falling out of our body, but don't worry because we re-create cells just as fast as they fall. The world's largest single cell is the yoke of an ostrich egg. Cells reproduce but they can only reproduce from another living cell. Cells are the smallest living organisms in the world and all living things are made from cells.
